Omani envoy calls for strengthening economic cooperation with Jordan

AMMAN -The Omani ambassador to Jordan, Hilal Ma'amari, called for the need to focus on the economic aspect of Jordanian-Omani relations during the coming period, as the volume of economic cooperation is "still less than ambitions."اضافة اعلان

Speaking during his meeting on Thursday, with a media delegation from the Omani Journalists Association (OJA) and a number of Jordanian media people, the envoy said the bilateral relations are "historic and deep-rooted" over decades.

The envoy also stressed the importance of the media's role in strengthening Jordanian-Omani relations.

OJA delegation visit to Jordan comes as part of a training program provided by the Jordan Media Code Academy, in cooperation with OJA, and includes courses on various media practices.
