The statement emphasized that "calling upon or
participating in a strike by a government employee requires legal action and
disciplinary measures according to Article 142, with the possibility of
imposing any disciplinary penalty against the employee, starting from a
warning, reprimand, withholding salary increments for one to five years, and up
to termination of the employee's services, and the severest punishment, which
is dismissal," Al-Rai reported.
The
Ministry of Health distributed the content of the
statement on Wednesday and requested all directorates, departments, hospitals,
and health centers to comply with its implementation under legal
responsibility.
