Osama Al-Sharif appointed as editor-in-chief of Jordan News

AMMAN — Al-Ghad newspaper management has appointed Osama Al-Sharif as editor-in-chief of Jordan News, starting from Monday.

Al-Sharif, a career journalist, has held several editorial positions, including editor-in-chief of Ad-Dustour Arabic Daily and publisher of The Star weekly and general manager of Arabia.com; the first electronic portal in the Arab world.اضافة اعلان

He also was the editor of Al-Ittihad in Abu Dhabi daily and The Gulf Today daily in Sharjah.

Al-Sharif writes political articles about the Middle East in a number of Arab and foreign newspapers and specialized websites in the region, such as Al-Monitor and Middle East Institute.
