Over 14,000 new retirees in social security system in 2023

AMMAN – The number of new retirees from the Social Security system since the beginning of 2023 until the end of August has reached 14,100, including 8,724 early retirees.اضافة اعلان

The institution stated that the number of retirees due to old age since the beginning of the year reached 4,424, and the number of retirees due to natural impairment (total and partial) reached 338, compared to 77 retirees due to occupational impairment (total and partial), Ammon News reported.

Regarding the number of early retirees from hazardous professions, their total reached 862 out of the 8,724 early retirees. Additionally, there were 529 pensions for natural deaths inside and outside of service, as well as 44 pensions for deaths resulting from work-related injuries.
