Over 29,000 students to sit for supplementary Tawjihi Thursday

AMMAN — On Thursday, 29,095 students will sit for the first supplementary Tawjihi (general secondary education certificate examination) session for 2021, with religion as the first exam; 421 exam centers that include 1,012 halls are dedicated for the purpose. اضافة اعلان

Of these students, 776 are Syrians living in refugee camps in Jordan.

The director of education in the North-West Badia, Basem Odaibat, said that "there are coordinators who give the students rides to and from schools and exam centers,” adding that about 95,000 students applied to sit for the exam.

Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education Najwa Qabilat said that the students who wish to sit for the exam are obliged to bring the certificate of vaccination, or a negative PCR test taken 48 hours before the test, to comply with Defense Order No. 35.

She added that a test room was prepared for students with high temperatures or who had been infected with the virus for 13 days.
