Over 8,700 illegal foreign workers deported

AMMAN — The Ministry of Interior on Monday said that some 8,785 illegal non-Jordanian workers during the period from July 4 to October 31 have been deported and guaranteed to leave the Kingdom.اضافة اعلان

A statement by the ministry said this move, conducted in cooperation with the Public Security Directorate, came in implementation of Cabinet Decision No. 2737 to rectify the legal status of foreign workers, adding that a campaign against workers violating the law is still ongoing across the country.
