AMMAN — Minister of Education Wajih Owais stressed the
importance of benefiting from distinguished people’s expertise in developing
Jordan’s teaching process, which would be reflected in improving school
activities and administration, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

During a meeting of
Ministry of Education’s institutionalization committee with the Association of
Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education (AQRAEE), Owais said the ministry
is keen to strengthen joint partnership and continue providing support to
AQRAEE to maintain its role to improve Jordan’s educational process.
Owais also noted
the importance of integrating AQRAEE outcomes within the ministry’s programs to
spread a culture of excellence and achieve the “greatest and deepest” effect on
Jordan’s educational field.
The ministry’s
Secretary-General for Educational Affairs Nawaf Al-Ajarmeh said AQRAEE’s output
achieved “positive” impact, which reflected on student-related services in the
classroom.
All stakeholders
must partner to provide an environment of creativity and excellence for the
ministry’s institutionalization project, which runs consecutively for the
fourth year, to invest potentials of distinguished students in the educational
process, he said.
AQRAEE Chairman Ezz
El-Din Al-Katkhuda thanked the Ministry of Education for its support as a major
partner, praising its “unrelenting” efforts to use any opportunity to establish
a culture of educational excellence within its regulations and programs.
