AMMAN — Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah, Prime
Minister Bisher Khasawneh will participate in the International Conference on
Development and Migration organized by the Italian government in Rome on
Sunday.

The conference is attended by leaders and officials from
European, Arab, and African countries, along with representatives from relevant
international organizations and institutions. Its primary objective is to unify
global efforts in addressing the challenges arising from refugee and migration
crises, as reported by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
During the conference, Khasawneh is scheduled to deliver a
speech focusing on the Kingdom's initiatives to effectively confront the
economic challenges resulting from refugee crises. He will also emphasize the
significance of strengthening cooperation among nations, entities, and
concerned organizations to ensure decent living conditions for refugees until
they can safely return to their homelands.
Moreover, the Prime Minister will engage in meetings with
several participating heads of government and officials throughout the
conference.
