PM condoles Egypt for Suez victims

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh condemned the terrorist attack in neighboring Egypt in a telephone call with his Egyptian counterpart, Mustafa Madbouly, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.اضافة اعلان

Saturday’s attack targeted a water pumping station east of the Suez Canal in northern Egypt, killing 11 Egyptian soldiers and wounding several others.

In the late Saturday night call, Khasawneh voiced Jordan’s strong condemnation of the ‘’cowardly terrorist attack’’ and underlined Jordan’s solidarity and unwavering support to Egypt and its efforts to confront terrorism and extremism.

Khasawneh expressed his deepest condolences to the Egyptian people and government and the families of the victims, according to Petra.
