PM congratulates Iraqi PM-designate on new government

AMMAN — Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh Monday congratulated Iraqi prime minister-designate Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani for forming a new government, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

In a phone call with Sudani on Monday, the premier affirmed Iraq’s special status to His Majesty King Abdullah, the Crown Prince, and the Jordanian people, who are proud of the deep-rooted relations with Iraq.

Khasawneh also reaffirmed Jordan’s commitment to maintaining the safety and security of Iraq, noting its pivotal regional and international role.

Sudani expressed appreciation of Jordan’s support of Iraq’s safety and stability, underscoring a common will to further bolster ties in various fields.
