AMMAN — Prime Minister
Bisher Al-Khasawneh
received a copy of the Audit Bureau’s 2021 report in a meeting on Sunday with
the bureau’s acting head, Ibrahim Al-Majali, the Jordan News Agency, Petra,
reported.

In the meeting, Khasawneh stressed the government’s
commitment to preserving public money and preventing any abuses in this regard.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs
Ibrahim Al-Jazi , who also heads a team tasked with reviewing the bureau’s
clarifications.
The premier underlined the government’s commitment
to cooperate with the Audit Bureau, and respond to its clarifications regarding
the work of public institutions under the oversight body’s monitoring umbrella.
Majali outlined the bureau’s efforts with ministries
and public institutions to tackle certain clarifications sought from them,
ahead of issuing its annual report.
