AMMAN— Spokesman for the Public Security Directorate said that the operational teams at the Narcotics Control Department will follow up on any information reported about drug trafficking, promotion and smuggling, and to arrest anyone involved in these criminal activities, Jo24 reported.

The spokesman confirmed that a few days ago the PSD dealt with information reported about a group of people who prepared to smuggle a large amount of narcotic pills outside the Kingdom.
The method, location and method of smuggling was determined by concealing narcotic substances inside two trucks loaded with carbon. The timing of the two trucks' movement was also determined. The PSD found million Captagon pills hidden in carbon sacks.
Four people who were involved in the case were arrested, and work is underway to arrest the rest of those involved in the case, according to the
PSD spokesperson, adding a raid was conducted on the farm of one of the suspects involved in the case in Karak, but he was not found inside.
