PSD urges caution during unstable weather

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) called on the public to take precautions, be cautious, and behave responsibly during the prevailing unstable weather.اضافة اعلان

Police stressed the need to exercise caution while driving in order to avoid traffic collisions due to low horizontal visibility, especially in desert areas, to refrain from driving vehicles during heavy dust, and for people suffering from chronic lung diseases to take the appropriate medications.

They also urged people to avoid the sides of the valleys and places where flashfloods may form, and not to risk blocking the road, whether on foot or by vehicle, in the event of flooding.

PSD urged the public to call the unified emergency number 911 if needed.
