AMMAN— On Friday, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) told people to follow preventive measures during the expected weather depression in the Kingdom, according to Jo24.

In a press release, the
PSD called on people to be careful while driving, especially on external roads, and not to avoid torrents, whether by vehicles or on foot.
It also called for moving away from the sides of valleys and places where torrents form, and to stay in high-altitude areas.
It also pointed out to the importance of inspecting and maintaining water drainage channels, and fixing movable objects.
A cold and wet air mass accompanying a depression centered over of Cyprus is expected to affect the Kingdom on Friday, bringing temperatures drop, cold and cloudy weather and rain falls in the northern and central regions and some parts of the southwestern regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
