AMMAN — Amal Al-Saadi, a Princess Sumaya
University for Technology (PSUT) alumnus, won the annual Huawei Developers
Competition, including the TechWomen Award, created to showcase female
programmers’ work, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

A statement issued by the university on Sunday said that
PSUT President Mashhoor Al-Refai, congratulated the winner and praised her
efforts, her perseverance and self-development.
Refai said that the university
supports its students and alumni, and provides them with a convenient
environment in which to achieve excellence. The university is proud of its
noble mission in the service of humanity as embodied by its students, and has sought
to support them in every forum that would serve the advancement of their
country.
For her part, Saadi, who
holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, praised the university's role
and its management in motivating graduates and sparing no effort in opening up
prospects for global interaction to them.
Being a founder member of
the university alumni club, Saadi’s relationship with the university continued,
demonstrating the importance of the award for her.
Huawei's platform has more
than three million developers worldwide.
Saadi is a business leader
and IT technical consultant and founder of Digital Solutions, currently working
for Orange Jordan. She is also writing a book on blockchain.
