Petra to require visitors to be vaccinated as of July 1

AMMAN — Suleiman Al-Farajat, chief commissioner of the Petra Development and Tourism Regional Authority, on Tuesday announced that visitors to Petra will need to have had at least one COVID vaccination.اضافة اعلان

The new rules will take effect July 1, according to Farajat. The measures are consistent with the government’s decisions to make the Golden Triangle, (the areas of Aqaba, Petra, and Wadi Rum), free of COVID-19, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
