Accompanied by a Jordanian delegation, Muhaidat was
briefed on the Algerian pharmaceutical market and visited a number of
pharmaceutical factories, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.
The visit, according to a JFDA statement, comes as
part of follow-up efforts to His Majesty King Abdullah’s recent visit to
Algeria. In order to enhance pharmaceutical cooperation, a meeting between
Jordan and the Algerian Minister of Pharmaceutical Industries is being
considered, said the statement.
Muhaidat affirmed the JFDA’s keenness to implement
Royal directives and expand the partnership and investment between the two
countries, especially in the field of pharmaceuticals.
Jordanian investments in the pharmaceutical industries in
Algeria, he said, have become a major contributor to the pharmaceutical
industry in the Algerian market. This reflects the distinguished reputation
that the Jordanian pharmaceutical industry has reached with its qualified
cadres and technical and scientific expertise, he added.
