Abu Al-Samen highlighted that the operational costs of
government vehicles, whether for
fuel or maintenance, pose a significant burden
on the Jordanian government's budget, especially for vehicles with engine
capacities exceeding 2000 cc, Ammon News reported.
He explained that the Ministry of Transport, in cooperation
with relevant government entities, established the foundation for this process
in 2022, which includes the purchase of energy-efficient vehicles to replace
the current ones.
Hanandeh stated that the mechanism for replacing government
vehicles will be part of an operational plan that involves the use of smart
applications to manage the replaced government fleet efficiently.
