AMMAN — A slight drop in temperatures is forecast, on
Friday, as moderate weather conditions prevail countrywide, while hot weather
conditions are expected in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and the port city
of Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (
JMD) said in its daily update.

Winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times,
the JMD noted, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Over the next 48 hours, a slight rise in temperatures is
forecast, pushing them 6 to 8 degrees above their annual average for this time
of the year.
Temperatures in
Amman will range between a high of 28°C during
the day, sliding to 17°C at night.
Highs in the port city of
Aqaba will reach 39°C, sliding to
23°C at night.
