On Tuesday night,
polar winds start to infiltrate the
Kingdom and the region, causing a significant decrease in nighttime
temperatures. This results in extremely cold weather in various parts of
Jordan, with clouds appearing at different altitudes. There's a chance of
scattered
rain showers in the north, sometimes accompanied by hail, and
occasionally extending to parts of the central regions.
Due to the infiltration of these polar winds, there's a
chance of
snowfall after midnight on Tuesday and Wednesday dawn, primarily over
the mountainous highlands, especially in the Jerash and Ajloun mountains. The
snowfall is expected to be generally light. Additionally, there is a
possibility of rain mixed with snow in some central highland areas.
Moreover, in the high mountainous
elevations, temperatures are forecasted to drop to or below freezing, resulting in frost formation in
those areas and the possibility of freezing occurring.
