Police detain 3 suspected drug dealers

AMMAN — The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) reported that its agents detained three suspected drug dealers in Amman and Zarqa as part of a national campaign against illicit narcotics, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. An investigative team from AND had gathered information about two suspected dealers in Zarqa. The team located the suspects and raided the place where they concealed the illegal drugs. They were placed in custody, pending trial. In Amman, police arrested one suspect after they found illegal substances in his possession.
