AMMAN — Police arrested two people Sunday evening in connection to the armed robbery
of a pharmacy in Dahiyat Al-Rasheed in Amman, according to Al-Ghad News.

The
suspects allegedly threatened the pharmacy’s staff with “sharp tools” and stole
JD800, the media spokesperson for the police said.
Police
were able to identify and locate the suspects and their vehicle from evidence
collected at the crime scene, the spokesperson said.
The
spokesperson added that officers were able to recover part of the stolen money,
in addition to the tools allegedly used in the crime.
The
suspects confessed to their alleged crimes during questioning, Al-Ghad
reported. The investigation is underway and will be referred to the public
prosecutor.
