Odat added that the parliament needs to pass
this law on Sunday because the country is facing a legal vacuum, and the
Independent Election Commission must be able to monitor the affairs of the
parties.
He indicated that in the amended text there is an article
that allows the existing parties a one-year grace period to correct their
situation, and therefore there is no need to delay its entry into force after
its approval.
