ISTANBUL — Next week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is
scheduled to embark on an official visit to Turkey. This visit is particularly
significant as it will be the first time in 15 years that a sitting Israeli
Prime Minister will be visiting the country. On July 28, during his visit,
Netanyahu will hold a meeting with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.

Coinciding with Netanyahu's visit, on July 25, Erdogan is
also set to host Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Turkey. The meeting
between Erdogan and Abbas aims to discuss important matters concerning Palestine
and Turkey's relations with the Palestinian territories, media sources
reported.
