Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan on Tuesday instructed Health Minister Firas Al-Hawari to ensure that all those injured in the traffic accident on the Jerash-Ajloun road receive full medical and health care.اضافة اعلان

During a Cabinet session held in Ajloun Governorate, Hassan also extended his condolences to the families of the victims who lost their lives in the tragic accident that occurred on the same road on Monday.

According to the spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate, rescue and ambulance teams from the Jerash Civil Defense dealt with a collision involving a mid-sized passenger bus and a "Diana" vehicle near the Souf Triangle on the Jerash-Ajloun road.

In a press statement, the spokesperson said that the accident resulted in two fatalities and 20 injuries, with varying degrees of wounds and bruises. Ambulance teams provided first aid at the scene and transported the injured, along with the deceased, to Jerash Governmental Hospital, Princess Haya Military Hospital, Al-Iman Governmental Hospital, and Al-Safa Specialty Hospital. All injuries are currently under medical treatment.

The spokesperson also noted that a traffic investigation will be launched to determine the cause of the accident.
