Prime Minister Jaafar Hsan on Saturday was briefed on the preparations made by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing to deal with the weather conditions currently affecting the kingdom.

During his visit to the ministry's operations room, in the presence of the Minister of Public Works and Housing, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for high levels of preparedness to handle the weather conditions, as well as the importance of coordination, cooperation, and integration between various concerned institutions and agencies for this purpose.
He also stressed the importance of a swift response to situations that require action, receiving citizens' complaints, and addressing them according to priorities. He affirmed that serving citizens, ensuring their safety, and ensuring the continued operation of services and facilities normally are the top priorities.
The Prime Minister was presented with a detailed briefing on the work of the main operations room and its sub-rooms in the governorates, as well as the mechanisms and systems used by the ministry to provide immediate responses to reports and feedback from citizens across various regions of the kingdom, particularly those near flood channels and valleys.
