Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan confirmed during a Cabinet session in Irbid Governorate that the government's priority for the province is to complete delayed projects and strengthen the sectors of industry, agriculture, and tourism, as well as attract essential investments to create the necessary job opportunities.

Hassan said during the session, which was held in Irbid on Tuesday with representatives from the elected councils of the province, that the success of the Economic Modernization Vision cannot be achieved without development in the governorates, enhancing productive sectors, and empowering citizens in cities, villages, and rural areas, as well as improving public services in these areas.
He added, "I just visited the new Princess Basma Hospital project, and we are determined to complete it by the end of this year and begin pilot operations in the first quarter of next year, with the aim of receiving citizens in the last quarter of 2025."
He continued, "This will fulfill an essential demand for Irbid Governorate and represents a major project in the health sector at the national level."
Hassan emphasized that the interests of Jordan and Jordanians remain above any other interests.
He noted that everyone is concerned with maintaining the security and stability of the country.
He pointed out that a strong, stable, and cohesive Jordan is best positioned to achieve the interests of its citizens, confirming that Jordan is moving forward "with the wisdom of His Majesty the King, our Hashemite leadership, and the courage of our Arab Army."
