Here is the text of the message:

"Zaid Al-Rifai has left us, a man of difficult tasks and bold stances, a former head of governments and ministries, and a descendant of a noble family in political and diplomatic work, after a life full of giving and serving the Jordan we love.

He departed as one of the companions of the late King Hussein, may God rest his soul, after serving for nearly half a century in the political and diplomatic fields. The history of Jordan records that he was the youngest prime minister in its history.

He witnessed his father, Samir Al-Rifai, building the Jordanian state, and Zaid was an active contributor in the process of building and development. He spent his years working in the political arena, contributing to the elevation of Jordan and raising its name in international forums. Today, we see this noble legacy continuing through his children and grandchildren.

But what I remember most is his kind spirit and his high reputation, during his leadership of the Senate and his representation of Jordan abroad.
May God have mercy on my brother and friend, Zaid Al-Rifai, and grant his family and all his loved ones patience in bearing this loss."
