AMMAN — HRH
Prince Mired bin Raad, chief secretary and
president of the
Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), inaugurated a park in the Abdali area dedicated to the late Aya Agabi,
founder of the Accessible Jordan initiative.

The park includes accessibility features such as slopes,
disabled parking, Braille signage, and an audio-visual introduction of Agabi,
made accessible through a QR Code and sign language, Jordan News Agency, petra.
During the opening ceremony,
HRH Prince Mired commended
Agabi's efforts to enhance accessibility in Jordan. Aghabi's mother, Hakam
Qusous, who is also the director general of Accessible Jordan, expressed her
family's gratitude for the honor.
In his tribute,
HRH Prince Mired highlighted the
significance of improving accessibility for people with disabilities at tourist
sites and public facilities in Jordan, in alignment with Agabi's 2017
initiative.
