AMMAN — HH Princess Ghida Talal, chairperson of the
Board of Trustees of the
King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center (KHCF/KHCC), opened a garden at the center on Monday to improve cancer patients’ treatment
journeys and provide them and their families with a sense of peace.

During the opening of the Hassan and Yusra
Kolaghassi Garden, Princess Ghida emphasized that comprehensive care and
treatment for the center’s patients is always a top priority, and that the
purpose of the garden is to provide a space that gives patients a sense of
comfort and boosts their morale, which plays a crucial role in assisting them
during a challenging treatment journey according to the Jordan News Agency,
Petra.
The garden was established through the generosity of
Ali Kolaghassi, a KHCF/KHCC Board of Trustees member.
The opening ceremony was attended by HRH Princess Raja bint
Talal, HRH Prince Mohammad bin Talal, as well as a number of patients and their
families, and featured activities for children and adults, such as an outdoor
movie screening and interactive games for different age groups.
