Amman - The President of the Jordanian Nursing Council, Princess Muna, Saturday joined as a guest of honour in the International Council of Nurses’ 125th-anniversary celebration.

Princess Muna discussed in a speech investing in nursing and enhancing its leadership role in health policy-making, noting her continued commitment to supporting the sector.
According to a statement, the ceremony, which was held at the Romanian Parliament in Bucharest, was attended by representatives from more than 50 countries.
Princess Muna was honoured with the Romanian Nursing Association Medal and granted the title of "Nursing and Health Ambassador" by the International Council of Nurses.
The Council issued the "Bucharest Declaration on the Future of Nursing," which set directions and strategies to enhance the role of nursing in decision-making and health policies. The declaration urges investment in education, leadership, and innovation in nursing to support global health.
