Dr. Nael Zaidan Musallaha, President of the Jordanian Private Hospitals Association, stated that the reception of the cases was coordinated between the government entities and the association to facilitate this initiative. The children were distributed across several hospitals that volunteered to treat them free of charge.
Musallaha emphasized the association's commitment to continue supporting families in Gaza, pointing out that this batch represents an ongoing effort by Jordan to welcome 2,000 sick children for treatment, in line with the royal initiative.
The cases received at the private hospitals include bone injuries, amputations requiring prosthetic limbs, heart conditions, and eye-related issues. The hospitals involved include: Al-Israa Hospital (6 cases), Al-Rasheed Hospital (4 cases), Jordan Hospital (5 cases), Al-Istiqlal Hospital (2 cases), Al-Hayat Hospital (2 cases), Al-Takasosi Hospital (2 cases), and Luzmila Hospital (1 case).
Earlier, the Jordanian Armed Forces and Ministry of Health personnel received 26 children via the King Hussein Bridge, providing them with the national vaccination program before transferring them to hospitals.
This initiative aims to provide the necessary treatment for these children, with plans to return them to Gaza after completing their treatment.
Jordan continues to offer humanitarian support, reflecting the spirit of solidarity with the Palestinian people during times of crisis.
