AMMAN — The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific
Research announced on Wednesday, September 13, The launch of "The Best Promotional Video Competition
about Jordan."

This contest aim to invite international students to
showcase their creativity and promote the beauty of Jordan through video,
according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Contest guidelines
Eligible participants must be non-Jordanian students
enrolled in higher education institutions in the Kingdom, regardless of their
field of specialization, program, or degree. The videos should primarily focus
on the educational aspect while also incorporating elements of social, tourism,
and cultural content.
The ministry specified that the videos should have a
duration of 1 to 2 minutes, and students can choose to participate individually
or as a group of 1 to 5 members.
Participants should send their videos, along with their full
names, university details, and a copy of their passport, via WhatsApp to the
International Student Affairs Unit at 0781111185. The deadline for submissions
is Thursday, November 16, 2023.
The top winner will receive a financial prize of JD2,000,
while the second and third-place winners will be awarded JD1,500 and JD1,000,
respectively. This competition offers a unique opportunity for international
students to showcase their love for Jordan and their creative talents.
