Property sales down four percent in first 10 months of 2023

AMMAN — The trading volume in the Jordanian real estate market during the first ten months of the current year reached 5.896 billion Jordanian dinars, according to the monthly report issued by the Department of Lands and Survey.اضافة اعلان

As per the report accessed by Al-Mamlaka, the trading volume in the Jordanian real estate market increased by 3% in the last month of October compared to September, reaching 629 million dinars.

However, the property sales movement in the kingdom decreased by 4% during the first ten months of the current year 2023, with apartment sales declining by 6% and land sales dropping by 4%, in comparison to the same period in 2022.

In the last month of October, the property sales movement in the kingdom decreased by 2% compared to the same month in 2022 and increased by 7% compared to the previous month of September.

Apartment sales witnessed a 2% decrease compared to October 2022 and a 11% increase compared to the previous September, while land sales decreased by 2% compared to the same month in 2022 and rose by 6% compared to the previous September.

The report also revealed a decrease in the estimated value of sales to non-Jordanians during the first ten months of the current year by 33% compared to the same period in 2022, reaching 172 million dinars.
