Protests in Downtown against "Water-for-Energy" deal

AMMAN— Jordanians on Friday held a protest in front of the Al-Husseini Mosque in downtown to protest the "Water-for-Energy" deal signed by the government of Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh with Israel and the United Arab Emirate, according to Jo24.اضافة اعلان

 

The protest was held in invitation by the national campaign to drop the gas agreement with Israel under the slogan "Stop Zionizing our country, no to the Zionists controlling Jordan's Water."

 

Protestors stressed the danger of the treaty on the security and sovereignty of Jordan, warning against linking the strategic and vital sectors to Israel.
