Public Prosecutor Issues Gag Order in Deadly Nursing Home Fire Case

Amman - The Amman Public Prosecutor has issued a gag order on the investigation into a devastating fire at a nursing home that claimed six lives and injured dozens early Friday.اضافة اعلان

The incident, which occurred at the White Beds Society elderly care facility in Amman, resulted in six fatalities and left 60 residents injured, including five in critical condition and 55 with moderate injuries.

The gag order, issued under Article 39 of the Press and Publications Law and Article 225 of the Penal Code, prohibits the publication of any information, photographs, or videos related to the incident across all media platforms, including social media.

Media Commission Director Bashir Momani has directed all media outlets to comply fully with the judicial order while the investigation is ongoing.
