Amman – The Director of the Public Security Directorate, Major General Dr. Obaidallah Al-Maaytah, attended the celebration held by the directorate on Arbor Day, today, at the Civil Defense Training City. This event reflects the directorate's significant role in preserving the Kingdom's agricultural wealth, which is considered a national asset. The Public Security Directorate consistently celebrates Arbor Day annually as part of its active community participation and contribution to preserving and increasing the agricultural land, particularly within the framework of its various departments and units. The directorate implements numerous educational and awareness programs aimed at protecting the environmental and agricultural sectors, launching tree-planting initiatives and awareness campaigns, and conducting regulatory campaigns through the Royal Environmental Protection Department. Additionally, the Civil Defense Directorate plays a vital operational role in handling fires, regardless of their causes.
