AMMAN — Minister of Public Works,
Housing, and Transport Maher Abu Al Samenmet with USAID officials in Amman on
Thursday to discuss studies and designs for new school projects funded by
USAID, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The meeting covered issues related to
implementing USAID-funded projects, with participants highlighting completed
projects and emphasizing the need to increase cooperation on future projects.
USAID education support projects discussed
during the meeting included a project to strengthen school administration and
planning, the inclusive school program, through which 30 schools will be
established, and the school education environment transformation program.
Abu Al Samen praised USAID's support for
Jordan's infrastructure projects in various sectors and said that the ministry
“is keen to strengthen cooperation”.
The USAID representatives also expressed
their appreciation for the role the Ministry of Public Works plays in the
projects.
