AMMAN — On Thursday, the minister of Public Works and Housing, Yahya Al-Kasabi, discussed with the president of the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA), Hamdi Al-Tabbaa, and members of the association several economic issues regarding the housing, construction, and contracting sector.

During the meeting, Kasabi stressed that opportunities for Jordanian companies to invest in the reconstruction of Iraq are available, and he called for the utlization of these opportunities to ensure the rebuilding of Iraq, which will contribute to improving the economy in Jordan.
Kasabi also took note of the association’s demands, stressing that arrangements will be made with the relevant authorities to solve their complaints. He also emphasized the government’s role in cooperating and partnering with all parties, to provide the best services to citizens.
Tabbaa shared the the JBA looks forward to the support from the Public Works and Housing Ministry represented by Kasabi.
