AMMAN - The Public Works and Housing Ministry, on Friday, stressed that it is dealing with four landslides on the Thiban-Mujib-Karak road.
The ministry in a statement, said its cadres are responding to the incident in order to re-open the road and will examine the cause of the landslide and will work on removing debris.
The ministry urged the public to exercise extreme caution in light of the unstable weather conditions that prevailing in the Kingdom.
It also urged people not to hesitate to ask for help upon emergencies through the ministry's main operation center, adding that the work with the partners including the Jordan Armed Forces, the Public Security Department, the Greater Amman Municipality and the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) will continue on a permanent basis.
