AMMAN — The
Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) and GEMS
Education, an international education company, have solidified their commitment
to education excellence through a three-year memorandum of understanding. The
signing ceremony took place at GEMS's headquarters in Dubai.

As part of this agreement,
QRTA will provide all teachers
and heads of departments of Arabic and Islamic studies at GEMS schools in the
United Arab Emirates with access to their
specialized diploma programs for
teacher training. This dedicated ocus on teacher development underscores their
joint determination to prioritize the needs of educators and elevate the
standards of education, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
Empower educators and improve overall quality of education
CEO of QRTA, Osama Obeidat, expressed enthusiasm for the
partnership, emphasizing that it will empower educators and significantly
improve the overall quality of education.
He highlighted the importance of their expertise in
Arabic language subjects and professional development opportunities, which will
positively impact a wide range of individuals.
Dino Varkey, the
CEO of GEMS, shared his excitement for the
agreement, considering it a significant milestone in the company's
comprehensive education strategy for 2022. He believes this collaboration will
equip their teachers with the latest and most advanced educational strategies,
enhancing the learning experience for students across GEMS schools.
