The Jubilee
Institute has been awarded the
Royal Marine Conservation Society’s Green Flag
for the 10th consecutive year in appreciation of its innovative approach to
education, which integrates learning with means of conserving the environment,
like recycling, and the use of renewable energy.
Every year students
from different grades come together to plant the school grounds with all types
of trees; part of many pioneering projects they carry out is planting olive
trees, for producing olive oil, in keeping with the institute’s philosophy of
promoting students’ engagement in the environment and the community.
