RHAS head, Dima Jowaihan, and Caritas Jordan General Director, Wael Suleiman, signed the agreement.
According to a RHAS statement, the agreement is part of the joint efforts and continuous cooperation within the framework of the "Partners for Humanitarian Response to No communicable Diseases - Jordan" project implemented for the second year in a row by the two sides.
The statement added that the project will be implemented in Jordanian Caritas clinics countrywide. Its activities include awareness sessions and campaigns, capacity-building programs for health staff, and medical consultations.
At the signing ceremony, Jowaihan said this agreement would increase beneficiaries from RHAS activities to include refugees and host communities in Jordan.
This "strategic" partnership is key to spreading awareness, pursuing a better healthy life for the Jordanian community, and reducing chronic diseases, Jowaihan said.
