Majali shared these details during a financial committee
meeting in the House of Representatives, where reports from the
Audit Bureau were discussed. He also mentioned that Royal Jordanian's fleet consists of 25
aircraft, a combination of owned and leased, Al-Mamlaka News reported.
Operation expenses
Fuel accounts for 45 percent of the company's operational
expenses, with fuel costs in Jordan being 15 percent higher than in other
locations. This difference is due to 40 percent of
Royal Jordanian's fleet
refueling in Jordan.
Majali revealed that the aircraft occupancy rate this year
has exceeded 75 percent, a remarkable achievement despite fierce competition.
He concluded by stating, "The numbers indicate profitability up to the
current date, which is September 9th."
