AMMAN —
Royal Jordanian (RJ) announced a community
partnership with the SOS Children's Villages Jordan, under which RJ will
sponsor five families for a year as part of the airliner's social
responsibility and sustainability strategy, the Jordan News Agency, Petra,
reported.

In a statement, RJ affirmed their belief in the national non-profit society's
role and its humanitarian missions to provide orphaned child-based care.
RJ CEO, Samer Majali, expressed his contentment with the project, which comes
in conjunction with RJ’s 60th anniversary.
This assistance, he added, would have a direct impact on making beneficiaries
able to provide a decent life for their households, meet their needs to cover
their annual expenses, and embody principle of equality.
RJ employees also presented gifts to children of SOS Villages in Amman to
celebrate this occasion and the New Year.
Director of SOS Children's Villages Jordan, Rana Zoubi, expressed pride in RJ's
support, noting the importance of joint cooperation with national institutions
to achieve a societal impact on children.
