AMMAN- On Saturday, there will be a “significant"
drop in temperatures, while downpour is forecast in the Kingdom's northern and
central areas and limited swathes of the southern and eastern regions, Jordan
Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Downpour during the daytime is
expected to be heavy at times in the Kingdom's northern and central western
regions and might be accompanied by thunder, the JMD pointed out.
In its report, the JMD warns of the
danger of flash floods in the valleys and low-layering areas in Jordan's north
and central western regions, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The department also warned of
slippery roads during downpour, and low visibility due to low clouds and dust
in the Badia regions.
According to the report, the Kingdom
will remain under the influence of the atmospheric instability and rain showers
are forecast occasionally in different areas countrywide.
The maximum and minimum temperatures
in Amman ranges between 9 - 15 degrees Celsius, in the Dead Sea 17 – 26 degrees
Celsius, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 16 - 26 Celsius.
