AMMAN—The
Kingdom will remain under the influence of the cold air mass, as the weather
will continue to be cold and partly cloudy, with rain showers forecast in
Jordan's northern and central regions, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD)
said in its daily update, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra

According to
the JMD report, the chance of downpour will taper off and the clouds will
gradually decrease as of the evening hours, with westerly moderate winds.
Whereas, weather is relatively cold in the port city of Aqaba.
The
department also warns of the risk of slippery roads in areas that witness
downpour, and low horizontal visibility due to fog formation, especially over
hilltops.
As for
Sunday, a slight rise in temperatures is expected and the weather will remain
cold almost countrywide and fair in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
The JMD warns of low horizontal visibility due to fog in the early morning
hours over highlands and parts of the Badia regions.
Meanwhile,
Monday will see sunny and cold conditions almost countrywide, while the Jordan
Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba will be warm, the JMD said.
The minimum and maximum
temperatures in Amman range between 3-12 degrees Celsius, in the Dead Sea 10-21degrees
Celsius, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 7-19 degrees Celsius, according to the (JMD)
report.
