Amman - The Senate's Palestine Committee, headed by its rapporteur, Khaled Ramadan, on Thursday met with a delegation representing the martyrs' families of Jenin camp, led by Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Rally of Martyrs’ Families, Mohammad Subeihat.

During the meeting, Ramadan affirmed Jordan’s "firm and deep-rooted" position towards the Palestinian cause, aimed to reach a just and comprehensive solution and achieve justice and restore legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
Ramadan also said the Kingdom continues to provide all forms of support and assistance to the Palestinian people in West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Jordan, under His Majesty King Abdullah II's leadership, supports the will of the Palestinian people by making "intense" diplomatic and political efforts at the regional and international levels, he pointed out.
Ramadan added that this Jordanian endeavor seeks to establish an independent state on the Palestinian national territory with Jerusalem as its capital and protect Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Islamic and Christian holy sites from Zionist plans and attempts to Judaize them.
Meanwhile, the delegation's head valued Jordan’s positions towards the Palestinian cause and the economic and political on the Kingdom for supporting the Palestinian issue.
Subeihat also referred to Jordan's public, official and popular position towards the cause and the Hashemite guardianship over Jerusalem's sanctities.
