Record low temperatures grip Jordan, Azraq hits 0.2°C

AMMAN — In the past 24 hours, the Azraq Governorate experienced the lowest temperature in the past registering at 0.2 degrees Celsius, as reported by the Jordanian Meteorological Department (JMD). Following closely, the Jafar region in Ma'an recorded a temperature of 1.0 degrees Celsius, succeeded by the Shobak district with a temperature of 1.8 degrees Celsius. The Safawi area and Queen Alia International Airport both noted a temperature of 2.0 degrees Celsius. Moving northwards, Ajloun Governorate and the Khalidiya area recorded temperatures of 3.0 degrees Celsius. The Ghabawi region documented a temperature of 3.2 degrees Celsius.
