Regent receives OceanX founder

AMMAN — His Royal Highness Prince Feisal bin Al-Hussein, the Regent, on Thursday, received Ray Dalio, the founder of OceanX, an international organization specializing in the scientific exploration of oceans and marine life, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The meeting covered the unique characteristics of Aqaba’s marine environment, the opportunities it offers, and OceanX’s scientific expedition currently underway in the Gulf of Aqaba to explore and map the marine environment there. Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh and Environment Minister Muawieh Al-Radaideh attended the meeting. In May, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with OceanX for the scientific exploration of Jordanian waters in the Gulf of Aqaba. The meeting covered the unique characteristics of Aqaba’s marine environment, the opportunities it offers, and OceanX’s scientific expedition currently underway in the Gulf of Aqaba to explore and map the marine environment there.

Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh and Environment Minister Muawieh Al-Radaideh attended the meeting.

In May, the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with OceanX for the scientific exploration of Jordanian waters in the Gulf of Aqaba.
